Hi again

Oh wow. it has been at least 3 months!

I knew I was abit slack, didn't realise it has been that long since I last blogged.

Just came back from my holiday/vacation/adventure. Can't wait to put up some photos. Hope I won't be as slacked as before. Still yet to upload trip photos from the past 3 years (japan, europe part 1, bali etc).

Can't believe it's spring already. Here come the hayfever season, safety net period, gonna be very very busy till next year Jan or Feb. Ah well year end again, new year again, felt like it was 2013 yesterday. Time sure passes very quick.

Note to self, Here are some overdue tasks that I need to quickly complete/sort it out:
- 40 CPD points (ticked, done yay, at least I didn't leave it till the very last day like last year!)
- PDL insurance (done, paid, manage to renew my policy this year, hehe I see an improvement in what I'm doing :))
- Tax refund (3 years worth, really got to start working on these long overdue tax refund of mine!)
- bills
- debt owing to myself from last year (who knows i can collect enough bills tax and debt to enable me another trip somewhere else :))
- calculate debt from recent europe trip
- clean the house (ongoing issue, need to get rid of alot of clothes that I don't need/wear)
- finish off all expiring food/ supplements
- check on airtickets for next year (yes time to plan for future trips!)
- renew Ahpra
- plan my leaves for December
- plan my upcoming break in November
- backup all data from my laptop/iphone/phone, time to reformat my laptop
- cheap way norway :)
- Chinese Visa???
- Citizenship

Too much to do.. .. .. ..

My AirasiaX + KLIA2 experience pt 1

Last month, on a whim I booked my flight to go back to Malaysia for the long weekend. Not exactly on a whim, I thought about it for a while but didn't get myself to do it, because of the upcoming trip I am having, so I should save. So I wasn't plannng to go back.

But when mum kinda hinted for me to go back (at least that was what I felt LOL), I felt bad, if I am willing to spend money to go travelling, I should be more than willing to spend the money to go home too if my family wants me to. Plus it was mum's birthday, and she wasn't well (had a major op).

So yes I went back, via Airasia X. seriously, Thank God for Airasia, that I can afford to fly back to Malaysia to visit my hometown, family, friends (if not I don't know when I go back, seriously tickets can be so expensive!). I got my no so cheap tickets (because I booked quite late, just few days before), costed me about 400-450AUD return (could have been less than 400!)

Alot of people complained about Airasia seats being uncomfortable, no meals/ entertainment etc. Well hello, first of all, it is a budget airline, so they try to cut cost (no meals no entertainment) to offer you lower ticket are. I think that is fair. It helps for people that are trying to save. You can still buy meals if you really want to eat something (it is not that expensive). Would definitely recommend buying meals on board though, especially if it's a long flight, you will definitely get hungry (I learnt from my lesson lol). I supposed you can prepare your own snacks to bring on board to save abit. (even though they said no outside food, doubt they care that much I did that before with no issues).

Seats wise, during day flights I find it ok. Well imo, maybe because I'm tinier in size, I find the seats ok for me (well gotta admit compared to other airlines, they feel more squishy, so ya giant people I so don't feel for you :P). The only thing that I really hate is the headrest, and that is due to me being short =.=. I couldn't rest my head properly against the seat, thank God for next pillow that helps with comfort. the normal Airasia flights (domestic) has more comfortable seats though.

Night flight, I have mixed experiences. It would be best if no one sit next to you (same for day flights). You get more space that way, and can sleep at ease. That happened with my first few flights to/from Adelaide last year. I was quite satisfied with it and slept soundly. Recent few hadn't been as comfortable though. One of them, I had an afro looking guy sitting a seat next to me (middle seat was empty, I was at the window seat while he was sitting at the aisle seat), I barely slept the whole night (I felt uncomfortable maybe because he looked creepy, but that can happen with any airlines i guess). Then I have sore back =X

And, to think about it, I don't think any other airlines night flights will be more comfortable anyway (except very slightly bigger seats). You still have to sleep sitting (unless you are lucky enough and get the whole row to yourself when it is not a full flight). IMO Best night flight experience would be with Emirates, their reclining seats were awesome (you can adjust the whole seat and backrest, hmm don't know how to explain).

So yes, mixed feelings with Airasia X in regards to the night flights, till I discovered Optiontown, where you can choose to buy row of seats to yourself (subject to availability aka has to be non full flight, fully understandable!)!! I did that with my last trip back to Adelaide, RM125 on top, worth every dollar! I don't think you could even buy seats like that with normal non budgeted airlines (correct me if I'm wrong, because I rarely travel via expensive airlines hahaha). I brought along my pillow, blanket (or you can use a jacket/big scarf, it is a must for me, I need something to cover myself to sleep), slept like a baby (non crying 1 lol) that night, when I woke up it was time to prepare for landing :).

So yesh, taking into account various things mentioned, airasia is my preferred airline now :D.. However if I find any other airlines with cheaper price (esp when on sale) no doubt I will go for those! except maybe China air =X.. (quite scared about the safet). In the end the major deciding factor is still the airticket cost, I just need a plane to get me from 1 place to another with the lowest possible price, and I think it is quite hard to beat airasia :)..

Okay, that's all for now. continue on later Re new airport!

Bad stuff comes in three

Today's my day off. Slept at 4 last night so I didn't wake up early enough (9ish).
Received a text message at 6am being told I did some stuff wrong when I was just following orders. Luckily I did not wake up from my phone alert. Well that wasn't the worst part.
In fact was in quite relatively good mood. Till I decided to tidy my room for real. I found suspected rat poo in my room. Remembered how I blogged previously regarding dreaming bout rat crawling up next to my bed. This might not be a dream after all @_@.
That prompted me to further tidy my room. For Some reason my heart told me to look for my burberry scarf. So I kept an eye out for it while folding and putting away my mountain high pile of clothes. Still I did not see it. I started looking into the living room and study room as I do put stuff there quite often after using it.
No, I could not locate it anywhere. Even the cloth bag that comes with it is no where to be seen. I started to panic, searched everywhere twice three four times. Really hope that it wasn't stolen.  Don't like to doubt people  but I have my phone stolen in my friends house before
Sad and emo now. Only have very few photos with the scarf on. T.T

UPDATE:
My dear awesome brother found my scarf for me!! apparently fell behind some drawers! (I told him roughly the area that I didn't look hard enough before I have to leave house for some appointments, he found it then :)

Oh scarf I'm gonna make sure I don't lose you again!

Gym 2014

went to gym for the first time this year!

Have photos as evidence :p
@Goodlife

Was slacking the entire year actually, either I was busy, tired, away, couldn't find my gym stuff/clothes etc.
glad I went. And worked out whether gym is doable night time after work.

You see I usually work till 9pm and my gym shuts at 10pm, takes at least 10 minutes to get to gym from work place, so afraid the place may halao  ppl let's say 15 minutes before closing.
Got there 9.20, asked the receptionist how much time I got, she said 40 minutes, SWEET!
End up doing about 25 minutes cardio then stretched.  Took it easy haha burnt off about 200kcal.  I'm satisfied!

Hopefully I don't slack off!

To make it easy for myself, gonna make note here of what to bring as reference (forgot my drink bottle today!!)

UPDATED LIST (after my 2nd visit and actually took a shower there, realised missing some stuff that could be handy!)

Blossom Cherrie

I've changed my blog title..

Why?

I was bored 1 day... randomly looked up other blogs by typing random blog address..

There was this other blogger with similar blog address..

with the same blog title as mine (Pandora Bxx) WTH??!

Call it co-incidence... (also remembered last time there was a blog with similar title also called Cheryl!)

Plus, (out of boredom again), i googled Pandora... or Pandora box.. wondered why chose that to begin with.. (I think i just liked the word Pandora that was why .. =.= )...

Quoted from wiki : Today the phrase "to open Pandora's box" means to perform an action that may seem small or innocent, but that turns out to have severely detrimental and far-reaching consequences

Sounds very negative yoooo... *touchwood* *choi* *badluckevilstuffgoaway!*

never my intention for you all to read all the evil deeds i did ;).. or receive evil vibes (ok.. now I don't know what I'm typing... blame it at my local time its 12am I'm sleepy and hungry)..

Anyways, that prompted me to change my blog title..

and that took me days...

..

don't know what name I should change to... (Cheryl box?? hahaha)

Finally I thought.. why not just blossom cherrie! I used this nickname/username/msnname etc since middle school (when we kids back then heng using all sorts of nicknames for msn/icq/yahoo/messenger ! I love anything japanese since as early as then, especially sakura, so I started using this nickname .. it sounds happy (at least that's what I think), plus i've been called cherry almost my entire school life (damn 99% of the teachers who didn't know how to pronounce my name).

Used that in my online RPG character too

my blog address..

and now my blog title xD

Next, I hope I can give my blog a makeover... ~! time for new template!!

Monday not so blue

Just downloaded blogger app on my phone (hooray!) So it's more convenient (attaching photos wise .. since I usually take photos on my phone nowadays.. and I hate blogging words and no picture!)

Anyways woke up this morning at 7.30.. jumped out of bed and got into shower.. thinking it's a Tuesday.
Then realised.. its actually Monday. And I don't work Mondays :))))... by then I was wide awake. So started my usual b4 work routine eg check mails, fb, juice, criminal case (fb friends could tell I'm hooked to this game lol.. I just love finding missing pieces bit!)

Glad I didn't sleep in since I have been doing that quite a lot lately on my days off (thanks to staying up late). Definitely not a good habit!

Gonna slowly cutting off korean dramas (tv dramas in general), criminal case (the intention to delete it off fb popped up in my mind today, well its a good start!) ETC.. slowly weaning off koreans bcoz the hosting site is constantly down.. HAHA

Had a breakky date with 2 of my colleagues... Went to coffee barun.. Despite being less than 10 minutes away from my place I've never actually dined there b4. They are known for their awesome coffee ( I think A Mother's Milk got their coffee seeds from here). Anyways ordered Sauteed mushroom mixed in sour cream + poached eggs (got them to changed it to scrambled) with sausages and toast

I loved it! didn't think mushroom goes well with sour cream (but mushroom goes well with anything haha).. the scrambled eggs were perfectly cooked too! Often encounter alot of scrambled eggs that were too soggy or just aint fluffy enough.... This one... DELISH!

Sauteed mushroom, sour cream + sausages+rockets+toast+scrambled eggs @ Coffee Barun

Finished 95% of it as I was hungry before (tried not to touch the bread at home before heading here!)

Great to catch up with those 2 colleagues as we are normally to busy to talk at work.. Spent 4 hours altogether! Karen (1 of them) showed us her ultrasound photos (she's pregnant with her fourth :D).. baby looked so quick sucking his thumb! (actually, don't know the gender yet, but the head looks like a boy's head haha silly me!)

Now I have a gap till work time... Well, I mentioned that I have mondays off. But because I feel awesome yesterday/today, I offered to work tonight (since I don't think boss like working monday nights.. and his birthday was yesterday :)). and, I live close, time better spent at work then on internet :))

Now something random, while I looked into the mirror today, I realised (and could see clearly) my iris were brown! I remembered back in the days, my eyes were black, tried very hard (even got my friends to look at it) and agreed that its either black or very very very dark brown (well, i supposed black is not very possible, so lets just stick to dark brown)..

So am surprised when they look different today, or now. Makes me wonder if adult's eye colour change? (I know infants do)... Googled for answer LOL .. briefly got the idea that they may, depending on sun exposure? I don't know. Even my hair colour changes at times from dark brown to brown to black xD.. Anywayz haha just something got me curious about. :)
